You built this. The week still runs through you.
The bookshelf I keep close is short and owner-facing.
Look at the number. Confront what the scoreboard actually says before you invent a story around it.
Strategy is choosing what not to do. Name the tradeoff. Stop pretending you can run every initiative at full force.
And here is the constraint most owners feel before they can name it: your best people are carrying the coordination. They are excellent. They are also why the business cannot stretch. You do not need more seats. You need capacity on the work that is eating them.
Technology was always part of how I saw the edge. In business school I noticed it early. Strong practitioners everywhere. What was thinner was a real understanding of the infrastructure and the marketplace that could add hours and clarity across the business, not just inside one function.
What changed is the unification moment. Agentic systems finally give that broad view a place to land. You searched how AI can help your business. Fair question. Most owners get a tools tour. What you need is someone who can unpack the work with you, name the use cases that actually return hours, and put another team on the systems you already pay for. Not a new login. Capacity.
Capacity opens. You keep the work only you can do.
sideKick is that firm.
We put another team on the systems you already pay for. The extra team you wish you had. You are not buying software. You are buying capacity. No lock-in. Your systems, your data, your call. We stay as long as we are worth it.
What we are not: a tools class, a capabilities menu, or a consultancy that sells you a deck and leaves you to install it. If this only works when I am in the room, I did this wrong. I am the name in the first meeting. The firm is the extra capacity on the team you already have.
Why now. Because the owner who is already excellent at the craft, already paying for the stack, and already short on hours finally has a capacity shape that matches how the business actually runs. The curiosity across the whole business, the ops discipline, and the technology layer are no longer three separate careers. They are one practice.
You built this. You should get to lead it.
